Jurgen Klopp praised for making Liverpool’s new summer signing
Craig Burley believes AS Roma winger Mohamed Salah is a good addition to the Liverpool squad

Mohamed Salah is a good addition to the Liverpool squad, according to former Chelsea defender Craig Burley.
The Reds concluded a deal to sign Salah in what was reported to be a club-record fee from AS Roma on Thursday evening.
The African forward will become the second summer signing at Anfield after Liverpool agreed a deal to sign England Under-20 international Dominic Solanke earlier this month.
Salah scored 15 times and made 11 assists in Serie A last season to finish as one of the division’s most-creative players last term.
The Egypt international moved to AS Roma from Chelsea last summer in an 11m deal after failing to cement a place in the Blues squad.
Indeed, Salah made just 19 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea, scoring twice before heading out on loan to Fiorentina and then AS Roma.
Former Chelsea and Celtic defender Burley believes Salah will be a good addition to Jurgen Klopp’s squad ahead of their return to the Champions League next season.
“He is a good addition to the squad but he wouldn’t necessarily start,” Burley told ESPN FC.
Liverpool finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last season, securing a return to Europe’s premier club competition.
