Jurgen Klopp sends message to Liverpool fans about Mohamed Salah
The Liverpool manager is confident Mohamed Salah will provide the Merseyside outfit with a greater goal threat next season

Jurgen Klopp has backed Mohamed Salah to provide Liverpool with a greater goal threat next season.
The Egypt international signed a long-term contract with Liverpool last month after the Reds agreed a club-record £36.7m fee from Serie A side AS Roma.
Salah scored 15 times and made 11 assists in 31 appearances in Serie A last term to finish as one of the most-creative players in the Italian top flight.
The 24-year-old struggled during his first spell in the Premier League after Salah moved to Chelsea from Swiss side Basel in an £11m deal in January 2014.
Klopp’s side finished in fourth place in the table last term but rather stumbled over the line following Sadio Mane’s season-ending knee injury back in March.
However, the Liverpool manager is confident Salah can help the Merseyside outfit next term with his pace and finishing ability.
“We said after last season, there are a few things we would try to involve in an already really good squad; one of the things is speed, being kind of a finisher, preparing chances, making goals and all that stuff,” Klopp told Liverpool’s website. “He brings all this in.
“He is a naturally fit boy – he can run as quick and as long as he wants. That’s all good. I’m really looking forward to [working with him].”
Liverpool have only signed England Under-20 international Dominic Solanke and African winger Salah in the summer transfer window so far.
The Reds have secured their return to the Champions League next season.
