Liverpool are hoping to complete a £50m deal to sign Naby Keita from German side RB Leipzig in the summer, according to reports

Liverpool are still hoping to sign Naby Keita in a club-record deal from RB Leipzig this summer, according to reports.
The Daily Telegraph is reporting that Keita remains a target for Liverpool despite the Merseyside outfit closing in on a deal to sign AS Roma winger Mohamed Salah.
The same article states that the Reds are willing to spend upwards of £50m on the highly-rated Keita to bolster their squad ahead of the 2017-18 campaign.
The 22-year-old is thought to have a bright future after the Guinea international impressed in the 2016-17 Bundesliga campaign.
Keita scored eight goals and made seven assists in 31 appearances in the German top flight last term as RB Leipzig finished in second place behind champions Bayern Munich.
Jurgen Klopp has form when it comes to signing African players after the Liverpool boss recruited Schalke defender Joel Matip and Southampton winger Sadio Mane last summer.
Both players proved a hit on Merseysde, with Mane finishing as the club’s joint top goal-scorer alongside Philippe Coutinho thanks to a return of 13 goals in an injury-hit season.
