Liverpool plot ‘firm offer’ to sign 22-year-old midfielder – report
Liverpool will make a substantial offer to sign RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita, according to reports

Liverpool are ready to make a “firm offer” to sign RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita in the summer transfer window, according to reports in England.
BBC Sport is reporting that Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of the 22-year-old midfielder and the Liverpool manager wants to add the African star to his squad ahead of a return to the Champions League next season.
The same article confirms that the Bundesliga runners-up have placed a £70m price tag on the box-to-box midfielder, which could prove something of a stumbling block for the Merseyside outfit.
However, the British media outlet go on to reveal that Liverpool will test RB Liepzig’s resolve with a substantial offer to sign the former Red Bull Salzburg star.
Liverpool have already completed a deal to sign England Under-20 international Dominic Solanke from Premier League champions Chelsea this summer.
The Reds smashed their club-transfer record to bring in Mohamed Salah in a reported £36.7m deal from Serie A giants AS Roma last month.
The Merseyside outfit finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last term.
