Promising 17-year-old ends talk of Liverpool move after signing new deal
Ryan Sessegnon has signed a three-year contract with Fulham to end talk of a move to Liverpool or Spurs this summer

Ryan Sessegnon has ended speculation linking the teenager with a move to Liverpool or Tottenham Hotspur in the summer by signing a new deal with Fulham.
The 17-year-old has been one of Fulham’s best players over the past 12 months despite the full-back’s lack of first-team experience.
Sessegnon scored five goals and made three assists in 24 appearances in the Championship in the 2016-17 season after the Cottagers narrowly missed out on a chance to secure promotion to the Premier League.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was thought to be interested in signing the left-back as the Reds boss looks to strengthen what is a problem position for the Merseyside outfit.
Tottenham Hotspur were also touted as another potential destination for the England Under-21 international this summer.
However, Sessegnon has now committed his long-term future to Fulham to end talk of the defender securing a big-money move to the Premier League.
Fulham tweeted: “CONFIRMED: @RyanSessegnon has signed his first professional contract, keeping him at #ffc until 2020 ✍️🙌”
Liverpool have signed two players in the summer transfer window after recruiting England Under-20 international Dominic Solanke and AS Roma winger Mohamed Salah.
