Liverpool transfers: Arda Turan wants to play in ‘another league’
Liverpool transfers: Arda Turan's agent says the Turkey star wants to move away from Atletico Madrid amid reported Reds interest

Arda Turan wants to leave Atletico Madrid to play in another league amid reported interest from Liverpool, according to the midfielder’s agent.
The 25-year-old has scored four goals in 17 La Liga appearances this term, helping Diego Simeone’s side up to second place in the Spanish league.
Turan’s agent Ahmet Bulut says the Turkey international, who joined Atletico from Galatasaray in 2011, is keen to leave Madrid at the end of the season.
Liverpool are believed to be one of the “five clubs” chasing the playmaker’s signature, although a £19.5m contract release clause could prove to be a stumbling block for the Merseyside outfit’s frugal owners.
“Arda has played at Atletico Madrid for two seasons now. I have wanted to see him play for another team in another league and Arda wants the same,” says Bulut.
“I can’t say the league or you’ll know exactly who I’m talking about but let’s just put it like this, there are only five to six clubs which could afford Arda right now and he’s going to join one of these five clubs.”
Turan has scored nine goals in 64 appearances for Atletico, winning the Europa League and European Super Cup, after completing a move from Galatasaray.
