Liverpool transfers: Brendan Rodgers hints that he delve into the January market by admitting that he needs time to add to squad

Brendan Rodgers has hinted that Liverpool will delve into the January market by admitting that he needs “a few more transfer windows” to get his squad to the right level.
The Reds have made a solid start to the Premier League season and currently sit in second place in the table, just two points behind leaders Arsenal.
Liverpool have been linked with a number of players as the winter transfer window approaches, including the likes of Derby youngster Will Hughes and Newcastle midfielder Yohan Cabaye.
And Rodgers insists that he is always on the lookout for new talent as he looks to help guide the Merseyside club back into the Champions League.
“We’re trying to build the squad here,” Rodgers said. “My history will always dictate that I go for players who are technically gifted and have got some personality.
“We brought in defenders [in the summer] because they’re hard to come by, but we brought in one who could play in the team [Mamadou Sakho] and one with potential [Tiago Ilori].
“The squad is slowly coming together – we still need a few more windows to get it ideal – but we’re growing all the time.”
