Liverpool transfers: ‘Loic Remy a better bet for Reds than Wilfried Bony’
Liverpool transfers: Mark Lawrenson wants Brendan Rodgers to sign Queens Park Rangers star Loïc Remy

Loic Remy would be a better bet for Liverpool than Wilfried Bony, according to Mark Lawrenson.
The Reds have been linked with a £15m move for Swansea City striker Bony after Luis Suarez joined Barcelona in a £75m deal on Friday.
I know Brendan Rodgers has been running the rule over Wilfried Bony, but for me Remy is the better bet

However, the former Liverpool centre-half feels Queens Park Rangers striker Remy, who has been linked with Arsenal, would be a better fit for Brendan Rodgers’s side.
“Liverpool could do a lot worse than make a move for Loic Remy,” Lawrenson wrote in his Liverpool Echo column. “It makes sense in so many ways.
“For a start, he hasn’t gone anywhere and, from what I understand, he has a buy-out clause that wouldn’t break the bank.
“He has scored goals for Queens Park Rangers and Newcastle United, so he knows the Premier League. and where the onion bag is.
“Remy can play as a lone striker in Liverpool’s favoured 4-2-3-1 formation but can also score goals from out wide.
“I know Brendan Rodgers has been running the rule over Wilfried Bony, but for me Remy is the better bet.”
Remy scored 14 goals in 26 Premier League appearances last season.
