Liverpool transfers: ‘Reds must find the next superstar after Suarez exit’
Liverpool transfers: Jamie Redknapp says the Reds now need to find the next Anfield "superstar"

Jamie Redknapp says Liverpool need to find the next Anfield “superstar” following the sale of Luis Suarez to Barcelona.
Suarez was in Barcelona on Tuesday to complete his transfer from the Merseyside club for a fee believed to be in the region of £70m.

Liverpool have already brought in Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana and Emre Can this summer, with Lazar Markovic set to follow.
And former Reds midfielder Redknapp is backing Brendan Rodgers to recruit the right players to help them cope with the loss of a striker who scored 31 Premier League goals last season.
“The key now for Liverpool is to go and find the next superstar,” Redknapp told Sky Sports News.
“I’m sure they will. They’ve got a great scouting system there.
“Rickie Lambert comes in as a completely different player to Luis Suarez and is a really good signing for £4m and people like Daniel Sturridge have got to stand up. His opportunity is to be the main striker at Liverpool.
“They need someone to step up and fill a brilliant player’s boots.”
