Liverpool transfers: Reds warned over Adam Lallana fee
Liverpool transfers: Southampton insist that they will not be allowing Adam Lallana to leave the club on the cheap this summer

Liverpool have been warned that it will take a hefty transfer fee to tempt Southampton into selling Adam Lallana this summer.
The 26-year-old England international has been heavily linked with a switch to Anfield as Brendan Rodgers looks to bolster his midfield options ahead of the club’s return to the Champions League next season.

Negotiations between the two clubs are said to have stalled because the Saints are holding out for a £30m fee for the midfielder.
And the Merseyside club have been advised that Southampton will not be allowing Lallana to leave St Mary’s on the cheap.
“Lallana’s been here long enough, we’ve brought him to this level and we feel that perhaps he should give it a little bit longer,” Les Reed, Southampton’s executive director, told BBC South Today.
“Anybody seriously considering coming for our players is going to have to think very significantly about the size of the fee,”
“If we do take money it will be because it’s the right amount and it enables us to improve the team and move forward.”
Lallana scored nine goals and made six assists for Southampton in the Premier League last season.
