Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge: There’s no favourite for Premier League title
Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge insists there isn't a favourite for the Premier League title this season

Daniel Sturridge believes there is no clear favourite in the Premier League title race.
The 23-year-old striker was unable to prevent third-placed Liverpool from suffering a 2-0 loss to early pace-setters Arsenal at Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
The Gunners are five points clear at the top of the Premier League table but Arsene Wenger’s men face reigning champions Manchester United at Old Trafford next weekend.
And Sturridge, who has scored eight top-flight goals this season, believes Liverpool have made a fantastic start, adding the title race is still wide open this term.
“It’s been an amazing start for us,” Sturridge said.
“We just need to continue working hard and continue doing what the manager tells us to do and see where we end up at the end of the season.
“I wouldn’t say there is one definitive team in the league who are going to be favourites to win it.
“Everyone in the top six is in the race. There are a lot of teams playing amazing football, including Southampton, who are up there.
“We’ll just stay focused on ourselves and try our best to play good football.”
