Liverpool’s Joe Allen wants to be ‘big part’ of Reds success
Liverpool's Joe Allen says he wants to play a big part at the Reds - but is willing to be patient in his battle to secure a regular spot

Joe Allen insists he is willing to be patient as the Liverpool midfielder looks to win a first-team spot.
The Wales international has been limited to just two appearances this season after he picked up a hamstring problem in the League Cup clash with Notts County in August.
The 23-year-old was used as a late substitute for captain Steven Gerrard as the Reds ran out 4-0 winners against Fulham at Anfield on Saturday.
And the midfielder has spoken of his desire to play a big part at the Reds this season.
“I’m working hard and waiting patiently for my chance, but Liverpool is a massive club and we are having a great season,” Allen told Liverpool’s website.
“The competition for places is really good and you want that at a top club, and I have to work as hard as I can to get back into the fold.
“You want to see your team doing well, especially when you are out injured – the lift you get is from seeing your team doing well.
“Hopefully with the momentum we are gaining now we can keep going and in an ideal world I would like to be a big part of that.”
