Liverpool’s to lose! Dietmar Hamann tips Reds to finish fourth
Former Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann feels the Reds are clear favourites to secure a fourth-place finish

Dietmar Hamann believes fourth spot is Liverpool’s to lose after their 5-1 win over Arsenal at Anfield.
The Reds raced into a 4-0 lead courtesy of Martin Skrtel’s quick-fire brace before Raheem Sterling and Daniel Sturridge slotted past Gunners goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.
Long way to go but fourth spot ours to lose now

Sterling capped off a fine Liverpool performance with a second-half strike before Mikel Arteta scored a consolation from the spot after Steven Gerrard had fouled Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
And former Liverpool midfielder Hamann feels Brendan Rodgers’ men are clear favourites to secure the final Champions League spot after opening up a five-point gap over Everton, who face Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
“Excellent game from LFC. Electric home form, great to see how they blow teams away. Long way to go but 4th spot ours to lose now,” Hamann posted on his Twitter account.
Former Liverpool manager Roy Evans felt the home side’s performance was one of their best in recent memory, praising the Northern Irish boss.
“That was one of the best all round performances I’ve seen for a long time. Well done to Brendan and the lads,” Evans said on Twitter.
He added: “Great to see how the young lads like Sterling, Henderson and Flanno have come on this season. All 3 have been a credit to the manager.”
