Victor Moses admits he wants to play as much as possible after struggling in the initial months of his Liverpool loan.

The Nigeria international has been limited to five starts and three substitute appearances for the Reds following a deadline day switch to Anfield from Chelsea.

And Moses, who scored his only Reds goal in a 2-2 draw with Swansea City in September, acknowledges that he still has a lot of improvements to make to his game.

“The main thing is to be on the pitch and enjoy football. That’s always been on my mind – to play games,” Moses is quoted as saying by Liverpool Echo.

“There was only a little spell at Wigan when I first signed there and I wasn’t in the team every week.

“I’ve always gone to places for the football, places where I’m going to play. By playing, you learn.

“It might seem I’ve been around for a long time but I’m still only 22.

“I think I can develop a lot more but I realise to achieve that I’ve got to play as much as possible.”
