Luke Shaw’s £27m price tag is justified, says Man United legend Gary Neville
Manchester United legend Gary Neville can't contain his excitement over the potential of new Red Devils signing Luke Shaw

Gary Neville has endorsed Manchester United’s £27m summer signing Luke Shaw as a “hugely talented” youngster.
The 19-year-old left-back signed a four-year contract that will see the England international remain at Old Trafford until 2018 after United agreed a £27m deal with Southampton in June.
Shaw emerged as one of the hottest English properties in the Premier League after the teenager impressed during the Saints’s first two seasons back in the Premier League.
The reason United spent £27m on a left-back at his age is because they see the huge talent and I can only endorse that talent

And United legend Neville, who progressed through United’s youth ranks to become the club’s first-choice right-back, has been left impressed by Shaw, having worked with the defender in the England camp.
“I am trying to keep guarded here about the size of talent that exists in this footballer,” Neville told the Manchester Evening News. “You are talking about brilliant potential.
“The reason United spent £27m on a left-back at his age is because they see the huge talent and I can only endorse that talent. You have to watch him at close hand to realise that this is an incredible and hugely talented football player. Luke Shaw is fantastic.”
Shaw made 60 Premier League appearances during his last two seasons at Southampton.
