Michael Owen states his prediction for Man City v Arsenal
The Liverpool legend is tipping Manchester City to beat Arsenal in their Premier League clash on Sunday afternoon

Michael Owen has ruled out Arsenal leaving Manchester City with a point in Sunday’s Premier League clash at the Etihad Stadium.
The Gunners will make the long trip to Manchester in search of just their second away win of the 2017-18 season in the Premier League.
Arsenal have only managed to beat Everton on the road this term following a resounding 5-2 victory over the Toffees in Ronald Koeman’s final game in charge.
Manchester City are sitting five points clear of their closest challengers Manchester United at the top of the Premier League table and the Citizens are a further four points ahead of Arsenal.
Pep Guardiola’s men have scored a staggering 36 goals in 10 games in the Premier League so far, including a resounding 5-0 victory over Liverpool and a dominant 1-0 win against defending champions Chelsea.
Arsenal lost 2-1 at Manchester City during the festive schedule last term and will have two days to prepare for the trip to the leaders following Thursday night’s clash against Red Star Belgrade.
Manchester City came from behind to beat Serie A’s high-flying Napoli 4-2 on Wednesday night to show their resilience.
Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Owen can’t see past a comfortable win for Manchester City on Sunday.
“City have only won one of their last nine games against Arsenal in all competitions, but I can’t see the Gunners getting anything from their trip to the Etihad given the sublime recent form of the hosts,” Owen told BetVictor.
“City have scored 20 goals in their last four Premier League games and I can’t see past another emphatic home win for Pep Guardiola’s title favourites.”
