Man City can call on 2012 mentality, Sergio Aguero warns title rivals
Manchester City striker Sergio Agüero knows the Citizens will have to replicate their mentality from their title success in 2012

Sergio Aguero has warned Manchester City’s rivals that the Citizens can call on their title-winning mentality of 2012 in this season’s run-in.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side are currently four points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool, who have played two games more than City.
We know we have the mentality to repeat 2012

The Citizens face Brendan Rodgers’s side in a mouth-watering encounter on 13 April which could decide the title’s destination this season.
And Aguero believes his fellow team-mates from their title triumph in 2012 can ultilise that previous experience amid a tense finish.
“It does (help City’s mental readiness), but it’s not just that game. The more you play, the more experienced you become,” Aguero told FourFourTwo.
“You must learn from your mistakes and not repeat them.
“Obviously no one expects to be level on points going into the last game of the season, but we know we have the mentality to repeat 2012.”
Former Liverpool midfielder Jason McAteer believes Liverpool will tear City apart at Anfield if Pellegrini’s side try to play their expansive football.
“Manchester City and the way they play won’t change. They’ll be expansive. At Anfield, that will be a mistake and Liverpool will tear them apart,” McAteer told Newstalk.
“Chelsea they’ll go for it at Anfield because they’ll have to and I think that will be an open game and that will help Liverpool.”
