Man City transfers: Stephan El Shaarawy says he wants to stay at AC Milan despite reported interest from the Citizens

Stephan El Shaarawy says he wants to stay at AC Milan despite reported interest from Manchester City.
The 20-year-old Italy international was a reported target for Citizens manager Manuel Pellegrini, with the Eastlands outfit said to be ready to make a move after El Shaarawy was dropped by Milan this weekend.
However, the Italy international has emphatically quashed reports linking him with an exit from the San Siro this summer, insisting he wants to remain and fight for his place at Rossoneri.
“I am staying at Milan,” El Shaarawy said. “My choice is clear and whatever offer arrives I want to stay.”
On Massimiliano Allegri’s decision to drop him for the 3-1 win against Cagliari, El Shaarawy added: “I don’t want to comment on the decision by Allegri to drop me, but I am going to have to accept it.
“I will adapt to the formation, even as a second striker. Now there is a lot of competition but there will be room for everyone.”
Meanwhile, the Italian youngster welcomed the arrival of Kaka, who rejoined the Serie A outfit on a free transfer from Real Madrid.
“The signing of Kaka is a dream come true for me because he is my idol,” he told reporters.
