Mark Lawrenson is tipping Manchester City to ease to a 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at The Etihad on Saturday evening.
The reigning Premier League champions made the perfect start to the 2019-20 season thanks to a 5-0 victory over West Ham United last weekend.
Raheem Sterling scored a hat-trick to secure a resounding victory over the Hammers to hoist the title holders to the top of the table.

Former Liverpool FC defender Lawrenson is backing Manchester City to edge to a 2-1 win against title rivals Tottenham Hotspur at The Etihad on Saturday evening.
“Tottenham were pretty unimpressive until the final 20 minutes of their win over Aston Villa, but that doesn’t matter – they got the win, which is what the top teams do when they don’t play well,” Lawrenson told BBC Sport.
“City were a lot more like their usual selves in their big win against West Ham, but I am expecting a much tighter game here because Spurs have got the weapons to hurt them on the break.
“I still expect Pep Guardiola’s side to win, but it is not going to be straightforward.”
Manchester City have never won the Champions League and Pep Guardiola’s side have fallen short at the quarter-final stage in the last two seasons.
The Citizens won the Premier League title after Manchester City finished a point ahead of title rivals Liverpool FC last term.
