Manchester City midfielder Fernandinho says confidence is high in the squad after a 3-0 win at Manchester United
Fernandinho has warned Arsenal that Manchester City’s confidence is high after a 3-0 win at Manchester United.
The Citizens surged into an early lead thanks to Edin Dzeko’s strike after 43 seconds before the Bosnian added a second from a Citizens corner 11 minutes into the second half.
We have another difficult game away and I think the confidence will be high for us

Yaya Toure, who scored a hat-trick in a 5-0 win over Fulham at the weekend, capped a memorable night for the City with a low finish past United goalkeeper David De Gea.
And Fernandinho, who moved to City from Shakhtar Donetsk last summer, believes Citizens will take extra confidence from their derby win.
“Our team deserved the win,” Fernandinho told Sky Sports.
“We started very good from the first minute. This goal changed the game. It was very comfortable.
“This game was key for us. The win was massive. I think can give us confidence in the title race.
“We have another difficult game away and I think the confidence will be high for us.”
He added: “The confidence is more high and we need to keep the performance in all the games.”
City’s win hoisted themselves above Liverpool into second place and three points behind Chelsea ahead of their trip to Arsenal this weekend.
