Man City’s Manuel Pellegrini delivers latest update on Sergio Aguero
Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini reveals Sergio Agüero is available for their FA Cup replay against Blackburn

Manuel Pellegrini has revealed that Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero will be available to face Blackburn Rovers in their FA Cup replay on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old Argentina international hasn’t featured for the Citizens since a 6-3 victory over Arsenal at Etihad Stadium in early December.

However, Citizens manager Pellegrini confirmed that Aguero, who has scored 19 goals in all competitions this term, is fit to take part in the cup clash.
“Sergio is working with normality with the whole squad and he is on Wednesday’s squad list,” Pellegrini said at his pre-match media conference on Tuesday.
“He is a very important player for us. It doesn’t matter if we are scoring a lot of goals, Sergio will always be a very important player and we are happy he is coming back.”
City were dealt a blow on Sunday after Samir Nasri suffered a medial knee ligament injury following a robust challenge during their 2-0 victory over Newcastle.
Initial reports suggested that Nasri could fit within six to eight weeks, and Pellegrini played down any chance of the France star returning before that time.
“He is a very important player for us,” he said. “He was also playing in a very good moment so we hope he can come back as soon as possible but I think less than six or seven weeks will be difficult.”
