Gary Lineker reacts to Anthony Martial’s goal in Man United’s 1-0 win over Tottenham
The Spurs legend has his say on Anthony Martial's winner for Manchester United

Gary Lineker reserved praise for Anthony Martial after his winner to secure a 1-0 win for Manchester United against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Red Devils welcomed their title rivals to Old Trafford in the Premier League in Saturday’s early kick-off in search of a first win in three games.
However, Spurs were the better team for most of the first half even without their prolific striker Harry Kane, who was sidelined with an injury.
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho opted to bring on Martial for Marcus Rashford in the 70th minute and the substitution made the difference.
Summer signing Romelu Lukaku rolled the ball into Martial’s path and the France striker beat two defenders before calmly finishing past Hugo Lloris.
Martial’s winner secured three points with nine minutes to go and hoisted Manchester United clear of third-placed Tottenham.
Former Tottenham striker Lineker praised Martial for rescuing what was an otherwise disappointing game between the two title rivals.
Lineker wrote on Twitter: “Martial scores for @ManUtd and rescues this game from being last on the @BBCMOTD running order.”
Manchester United are looking to win their first Premier League title since 2013.
The Red Devils finished in sixth place in the Premier League table last term.
Spurs have now lost to defending champions Chelsea and Manchester United in the Premier League this season.
