Man United don't intend to sell club record signing Paul Pogba this summer, according to a report
Manchester United have no intention of selling Paul Pogba before 2 September, according to a report in England.
The Daily Star is reporting that the Red Devils do not plan to budge on their stance that Pogba is not for sale this summer.
The same article states that Manchester United have received assurances from Pogba that he’ll remain committed for another 12 months.
According to the same story, the 20-time English champions are braced for a bid from La Liga giants Real Madrid before Spain’s transfer window shuts.
The report goes on to add that Zinedine Zidane will need to offload some players before Real Madrid can submit a huge bid.
Manchester United were 4-0 winners against Chelsea FC in their opening Premier League fixture of the 2019-20 season.
Pogba created two of Manchester United’s goals in their landslide victory over their top-four rivals.
The France star has struggled to justify his £89m price tag since his move to Manchester United from Serie A giants Juventus in 2016.
Pogba has only won the Europa League and the League Cup as Manchester United continue to fall short in the Premier League and the Champions League.
Manchester United will make the trip to Wolves in their next Premier League game on Monday 19 August.
