Paul Merson predicts Man United v Bournemouth
Paul Merson looks ahead to Manchester United's Premier League clash with Bournemouth on Wednesday

Paul Merson is fully expecting to see Manchester United get back to winning ways in the Premier League by beating Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
The Red Devils suffered a damaging 2-1 defeat by Manchester City in the derby clash at Old Trafford on Sunday as they fell 11 points behind their bitter local rivals.
Manchester United will be desperate to get their Premier League campaign back on track when they host Bournemouth at Old Trafford as they look to try and set themselves up for a successful festive period in the top flight.
Merson is fully expecting to see Manchester United claim all three points on Wednesday night but has warned that it will be far from a straightforward encounter for the Red Devils.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Arsenal legend Merson said: “On paper this looks easy for United, but I watched them against Brighton and they struggled.
“They miss Pual Pogba, of course, but when I watched it against City, I was just thinking ‘why aren’t you having a go?’ United looked petrified.
“There are ways of losing, and if I was a United fan, I would want to see more. Bournemouth might get a bit of a backlash and won’t have enough to challenge them.”
Manchester United finished in sixth place in the Premier League table last season but managed to qualify for the Champions League thanks to their Europa League triumph under Jose Mourinho last term.
The Red Devils, who topped their Champions League group, will take on Sevilla in the last 16 of the Europa League after the draw was made in Nyon on Monday morning.
