Owen Hargreaves reacts to Paul Pogba’s display in Man United’s 2-1 win over CSKA Moscow
Owen Hargreaves has his say on Paul Pogba's performance during Man United's 2-1 Champions League win over CSKA Moscow

Owen Hargreaves singled out Paul Pogba for special praise after the midfielder’s strong performance in Manchester United’s 2-1 win over CSKA Moscow in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
The midfielder was in top form for the Red Devils as Jose Mourinho’s men booked their place in the last 16 of Europe’s elite club competition as group winners.
However, it was the Russian side who took the lead in the first half on the stroke of half-time, when Alan Dzagoev netted in controversial circumstances as he looked to be offside.
But Manchester United fought back in the second half and Romelu Lukaku pulled a goal back for the home side after good play from Pogba in the 64th minute.
And Marcus Rashford made it 2-1 to the hosts moments later when he latched on to Juan Mata’s pass and fired home.
Former Manchester United midfielder Hargreaves was particularly impressed by Pogba’s display and highlighted how much the Red Devils are likely to miss him in the derby clash against Manchester City on Sunday, when he misses out due to suspension.
Speaking during BT Sport‘s coverage of the game, Hargreaves said: “How good is Paul Pogba? He just sits in that little pocket of space, checks his shoulder and gets his head up.
“Lukaku is just far too strong. It’s a brilliant ball from Paul Pogba and a brilliant finish from Lukaku.
“It’s just a shame that Paul Pogba won’t be able to play at the weekend in that midfield.”
Manchester United host Manchester City at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon as they look to try and close the gap to the Premier League leaders.
