Gary Neville pinpoints where Man United need to improve
The Man United legend says Jose Mourinho's side need to improve on the road in the Premier League

Gary Neville has warned Manchester United that they will need to improve their performances on the road to challenge for the Premier League title this term.
The Red Devils came back from the international break level on points with Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.
However, Manchester United lost ground on their title rivals following a goalless draw with Liverpool at Anfield last weekend before a 2-1 defeat at Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
While a point at the home of their bitter rivals on paper is a decent result, Manchester United were criticised for showing a lack of adventure and their poor attacking form carried over into the Huddersfield clash.
In start contrast, Manchester City produced an impressive performance in a 1-0 win against defending Premier League champion Chelsea last month.
Former Manchester United defender Neville warned that the Red Devils will need to improve their record on the road to have a shot at pipping Manchester City to the title.
“It [their away performances] needs to do [improve],” Neville told his Sky Sports podcast.
“If they’re going to win the league they’ll have to be better than that away from home in the big games.
“They’ll have to counter attack better. They are defending well. They are resilient. But you have to score the goals away from home.”
Manchester United finished in sixth place in the Premier League table last term.
The Red Devils won the EFL Cup and the Europa League in Jose Mourinho’s first season in charge.
