Ian Wright admits delight with Jesse Lingard after Man United signing
The Arsenal legend is pleased to see Jesse Lingard shine in the Manchester United team despite Alexis Sanchez's addition

Ian Wright has admitted that he is delighted to see Jesse Lingard continue to shine in the Manchester United team.
The England international was in scintillating form over the festive schedule to cement a regular first-team place.
Lingard netted eight times and made two assists in 10 games in all competitions between 28 November and 5 January.
The 24-year-old suffered a potential setback when Manchester United signed Chile international Alexis Sanchez in a swap deal from Arsenal.
The January signing established himself as one of the Premier League’s best players over three and a half seasons at the Gunners.
Lingard, though, has managed to maintain his impressive performances with a goal in a 4-0 win over Yeovil Town.
The England midfielder came off the bench to score a winner in a 2-1 victory over Chelsea FC at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Former Arsenal striker Wright is pleased to Lingard continue his excellent performances in the Manchester United side.
“I was delighted for Jesse Lingard. He has been very unlucky with the addition of Sanchez,” Wright told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“He is still doing what he was doing before Sanchez arrived.”
Manchester United finished in sixth place in the Premier League table last term but won the Europa League and the League Cup.
Lingard has scored in a FA Cup final, a League Cup final and the Community Shield at Wembley.
