Jose Mourinho aims dig at Man United
Former Man United manager Jose Mourinho sends a message to Red Devils supporters

Jose Mourinho says he can’t talk about Manchester United with “joy” after confirming that he plans to make a return to management.
The Red Devils sacked the Portuguese head coach back in December following a 3-1 loss to Premier League runners up Liverpool FC at Anfield.
Mourinho failed to revive Manchester United’s ailing fortunes despite the former Real Madrid boss winning the Europa League and League Cup in his debut season back in 2016-17.
Manchester United didn’t produce attacking football under Mourinho, while key players such as Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford struggled to find consistent form.
Mourinho has been regularly linked with the Paris Saint-Germain position over the past few seasons, but former Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel is currently in charge at Parc des Princes.
The Portuguese coach aimed a thinly veiled dig at Manchester United when asked about his former employers.
“It’s difficult for me to talk about Manchester,” Mourinho told RMC Sport, as quoted by Metro.
“I can’t talk about them in the same joy and freedom as I talk about others [clubs].”
Asked about Man United’s incredible 3-1 win at PSG in the Champions League round of 16 back in March, Mourinho chalked the result down to the French side’s poor preparation.
“I think PSG was not ready for what happened,” Mourinho added. “For me they did not prepare themselves in the most serious way for a Champions League match.”
Manchester United finished in sixth place in the Premier League after managing to win a mere two of their final 12 games in all competitions.
The Red Devils finished the 2018-19 season without silverware.
