Jose Mourinho replies when asked if Man United are going through tough spell
The Manchester United manager refuses to admit his team are going through a tough spell in the Premier League

Jose Mourinho refused to admit that Manchester United are going through a difficult spell in the Premier League.
The Red Devils were held to a frustrating 2-2 draw with Burnley at Old Trafford on Boxing Day to leave Manchester United a mere point ahead of third-placed Chelsea in the Premier League table.
Burnley eased into a 2-0 half-time lead at the Theatre of Dreams courtesy of goals from Ashley Barnes and Steven Defour to leave the home side contemplating a shock Boxing Day defeat.
Mourinho brought on Jesse Lingard and Henrikh Mkhitaryan at half-time and the England international halved the deficit in the 53rd minute to give Manchester United some renewed energy.
Lingard levelled in injury time with a finish inside the box but Manchester United were unable to find a winner to slump to a second successive 2-2 stalemate in the Premier League.
Harry Maguire scored a last-gasp equaliser to rescue a point for Leicester against Manchester United last weekend to leave Mourinho’s men further behind runaway leaders Manchester City.
Asked during an interview with BBC Sport whether Manchester United are going through a sticky spell in the Premier League, Mourinho replied:
“Why? Because we deserve to win matches? Because the opponent went to our goal twice and they score twice? The quality of our play, the risk that we took today and also against Leicester, the team that deserved to win both matches is us.”
Manchester United haven’t won the Premier League title since 2013.
