Nemanja Matic sets Man United challenge at Old Trafford
The Manchester United summer signing wants Jose Mourinho's men to extend their winning run at Old Trafford

Nemanja Matic has challenged Manchester United to extend their impressive record at Old Trafford in the 2017-18 season.
Manchester United welcomed Tottenham Hotspur to the Theatre of Dreams in Saturday’s early kick-off in the Premier League as Jose Mourinho’s men looked to end a two-game winless streak.
The Red Devils earned three points thanks to Anthony Martial’s 81st-minute winner at Old Trafford after summer signing Romelu Lukaku teed up the France international.
Manchester United have now recorded five successive victories at Old Trafford this season thanks to wins against West Ham, Everton, Leicester, Crystal Palace and Tottenham.
Matic, who moved to Manchester United from defending champions Chelsea in a £40m deal in the summer transfer window, urged the Red Devils to maintain their impressive home form.
“It’s important to keep our record at home,” Matic told Sky Sports.
“The fans were great for 90 minutes. I hope we continue like this as these games are so important.”
Matic is looking to win his third Premier League title but first as a Manchester United player.
The Red Devils midfielder was part of Mourinho’s Chelsea side that won the title in 2015 before he lifted the Premier League trophy under Antonio Conte last term.
Manchester United also signed Everton striker Romelu Lukaku and Benfica defender Victor Lindelof in the summer transfer window.
