Victor Lindelof sends positive message to Man United supporters ahead of Brighton clash
The Manchester United star is feeling confident following his impressive showing at the World Cup this summer

Victor Lindelof insists he is feeling great ahead of Manchester United’s clash against Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday evening.
The Sweden international started his first Premier League game of the new season last Friday when Manchester United eased to a 2-1 win against Leicester City at Old Trafford.
Lindelof returned to Old Trafford following an impressive summer of the Manchester United centre-half helped Sweden to reach the World Cup quarter-finals.
Manchester United signed Lindelof in a £30m deal from Benfica in the 2017 summer transfer window to improve their defence ahead of the new Premier League season.
Lindelof struggled to impress during his debut campaign at Old Trafford to raise questions about his ability to thrive in the Manchester United team.
Mourinho looked to target a centre-half signing in the summer transfer window to suggest that the Portuguese head coach considered centre-half to be a weakness in his team.
However, Lindelof has returned to the Manchester United team with his confidence inflated following a solid showing at the World Cup in Russia.
“I feel great,” Lindelof told Man United’s website. “I had a good summer: first, I got married and had an amazing time, then I played in the World Cup, which was also a great experience.
“And after a good rest, I’m back here and ready for what’s to come. It’s always nice to get a good start, as that gives you more confidence and you can be more relaxed.”
Manchester United finished in second place in the Premier League table last season ahead of Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool FC, Chelsea FC and Arsenal.
The Red Devils lost 1-0 to Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final at Wembley.
