Gary Neville states his prediction for Man United v Liverpool FC
The Man United legend insists Jose Mourinho's side are still favourites to beat Liverpool FC at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon

Gary Neville believes Manchester United are still favourites to beat Liverpool FC at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The Red Devils were dramatic 3-2 winners against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Monday night thanks to Nemanja Matic’s added-time winner in the English capital.
The Serbia international’s last-gasp goal allowed Manchester United to hoist themselves above Liverpool FC and into second place with a two-point cushion.
Manchester United left Anfield with a point in their last two trips to the red half of Merseyside under Jose Mourinho.
The Red Devils attracted criticism for their negative performances on both occasions despite earning a point against one of their traditionally biggest rivals.
Liverpool FC are unbeaten in their last five games and Jurgen Klopp’s side are a mere six points adrift of Manchester United.
Manchester United legend Neville believes Mourinho’s side are favourites to win the Premier League clash.
“I always fancy United at home. With Liverpool you have to get through that first half an hour, especially at Anfield, where they are a completely different proposition,” Neville told Sky Sports.
“I’ve always thought that for Liverpool away from home they struggled with the size of the pitch, despite them not being hugely different on paper.
“It’s a lot harder for United to play at Anfield and a lot harder for Liverpool to play at Old Trafford, so I fancy United to win.
“Jose Mourinho has two big games in four days that will define the rest of the season – against Liverpool and Sevilla. How strong he goes in both remains to be seen.”
Manchester United finished in sixth place in the Premier League table last season and two spots below Liverpool FC.
However, Mourinho won the Europa League and the League Cup in his first season in charge at Old Trafford.
Manchester United will take on Sevilla in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 clash next week.
