Alan Shearer predicts where Man United will finish this term
Alan Shearer reckons that Manchester United are still very much in the race for the Premier League title

Alan Shearer believes that Manchester United are still very much in the hunt for the Premier League title.
The Red Devils bounced back to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday when they snatched a narrow 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford thanks to Anthony Martial’s winner in the second half.
That result left Manchester United in second place in the Premier League table and five points behind bitter local rivals Manchester City after 10 games of the new campaign.
Jose Mourinho will be aiming to guide Manchester United to a Premier League title challenge this term after the Red Devils finished sixth last season.
And England legend Shearer feels that Manchester United are still one of the main contenders for the title.
Speaking on Match of the Day on Saturday, Shearer said: “I wouldn’t rule Manchester United out of the title race just yet.
“Mourinho won two trophies last season and it wouldn’t surprise me if he won another one this season.
“For all the talk of negative football, at the end of the day trophies are what count for most fans.”
Manchester United are aiming to win the title for the first time since Sir Alex Ferguson’s final campaign in charge at Old Trafford in 2012-13.
The Red Devils are now preparing to return to Champions League action as they host Benfica at Old Trafford in their next Premier League game.
Manchester United then take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in a crunch clash next weekend.
