Jose Mourinho delivers huge Alexis Sanchez update after Man United beat Burnley
Jose Mourinho seems to be convinced that Alexis Sanchez is set to become a Man United player this month

Jose Mourinho seems to be convinced that Alexis Sanchez is set to sign for Manchester United imminently after he watched his side seal a 1-0 win over Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The Red Devils secured the three points at Turf Moor thanks to Anthony Martial’s goal in the 54th minute to close the gap to Manchester City down to nine points.
Sanchez has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in recent days and the Chilean was left out of the Arsenal squad to face Crystal Palace as he edged closer to the transfer.
And, speaking after the game, Mourinho for the first time seemed to be feeling confident that Sanchez will indeed become a Manchester United player this month.
Speaking to BBC Sport, Mourinho said when asked about Sanchez: “If you ask me if I think he is coming, I think so, but I have no confirmation.”
Sanchez is widely regarded as one of the Premier League’s top attacking players and will be a welcome addition to the Red Devils squad.
It remains to be seen whether the deal will mean that Henrikh Mkhitaryan heads to Arsenal as part of the transfer.
Manchester United are next in action when they take on Yeovil Town on Friday night in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
