Romelu Lukaku has been trying to convince Alexis Sanchez to leave Manchester United and join Inter Milan this summer, according to reports.
The Daily Mail, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that Lukaku has been “working hard” to try and convince Sanchez to move to the San Siro this summer since his switch to Inter Milan.
According to the same story, Lukaku has been sending Sanchez messages every day trying to convince Sanchez to make the move to Italy.
Sanchez’s future has been a source of speculation in recent months after he fell out of favour at Old Trafford last season.
The Chilean struggled for both form and fitness as he was limited to just a handful of Premier League appearances under Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last term.
Solskjaer has recently insisted that Sanchez remains part of his plans, but it still remains to be seen whether he will end up leaving Old Trafford before the close of the European transfer window on 2 September.
Manchester United were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by Wolves on Monday night as they dropped their first points of the season under Solskjaer.
They will return to action with a home clash against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
