Alexis Sanchez makes Man United statement
Alexis Sanchez challenges Man United to produce thrilling attacking displays this season

Alexis Sanchez has challenged his Manchester United team-mates to focus on producing solid attacking displays this season.
The 29-year-old has just begun his first full season at Old Trafford after having signed for the Red Devils from Arsenal in the January transfer window.
Most Manchester United fans would agree that Sanchez struggled to produce consistent performances for the Red Devils in his first six months at Old Trafford.
However, after having the whole summer off to recharge his batteries, the Chile international will be hoping to hit top gear in the coming weeks and months.
And the former FC Barcelona star feels that Manchester United are set to focus on producing strong performances this season as they look to establish themselves as one of the challengers for the Premier League title.
Speaking in an interview with Manchester United’s website, Sanchez said: “Pressing forward, and with a desire to win – with the mindset that distinguishes United from others.
“United is a big team. Even though we have improved a lot, we need to keep improving. Now it is time to prove it, to fight for the top spots, and I think this is the season to do it.”
Manchester United finished in second place in the Premier League table and without a trophy last season.
The Red Devils have not won the Premier League since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement back in 2013, but they did win the Europa League and League Cup in Jose Mourinho’s first campaign in charge.
