Man United are following Chelsea’s lead, claims ex-striker
Stan Collymore believes that Manchester United are following Chelsea's lead this season

Stan Collymore believes that Manchester United are following Chelsea’s lead with their Premier League tactics this season.
The Red Devils have been in fine form so far this season in what is Jose Mourinho’s second campaign in charge at Old Trafford.
Manchester United have won six of their opening seven games to leave them in second place in the table and level on points with leaders Manchester City.
Chelsea were widely praised for their solid displays last season as Antonio Conte led the west London side to the Premier League title in his first campaign in charge at the club.
Manchester United have looked solid at the back this season and have only conceded two goals in the Premier League so far this term.
And former Liverpool striker Collymore believes that Manchester United are ready to enjoy success this term after having built their performances from a strong defence.
Writing in his column for the Daily Mirror, Collymore said: “United boss Jose Mourinho is the arch-pragmatist when it comes to setting up teams.
“He gets his defence right first, then worries about his attack later. It seems to have worked pretty well in the past — and be working pretty well now — for him.
“Antonio Conte did the same at Chelsea last season.”
Manchester United are currently preparing for their crunch Premier League clash against Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday lunchtime as they look to continue their strong start to the new season.
The Red Devils have only dropped points in the 2-2 draw with Stoke this season in the Premier League.
