Journalist claims Man United could still sign Chelsea FC star this summer
Duncan Castles delivers the latest update on Man United's bid to sign Willian from Chelsea FC

Manchester United are still open to the possibility of signing Willian from Chelsea FC this summer, according to journalist Duncan Castles.
The Red Devils are thought to be on the lookout for a number of other new signings this summer before the transfer window closes on 9 August.
Willian’s situation at Stamford Bridge has been a source of uncertainty all summer due to his lack of playing time last season under Antonio Conte.
Manchester United have long been linked with a move to sign Willian as they ponder bolstering their attacking options ahead of the new campaign.
Now, Sunday Times journalist Castles has claimed that the Red Devils are still interested in Willian and they could move to bring Anthony Martial to Stamford Bridge if Eden Hazard ends up leaving.
Speaking to the Transfer Window podcast, Castles said: “Man United were convinced by Mourinho to make an offer for Willian or use Martial in a deal to replace Hazard.
“It is a situation that opens up for negotiations in the coming weeks to solve problems for both clubs.”
Manchester United will be aiming to challenge for the Premier League title next season as they look to try and build a squad capable of winning the trophy for the first time since 2013.
The Red Devils ended up in second place in the Premier League table and without a trophy last term in what was Jose Mourinho’s second campaign in charge at the club.
