Gary Neville uses Chelsea to make point about Man United in the title race
Gary Neville delivers his verdict on Man United's title hopes after the draw against Liverpool at Anfield

Gary Neville believes that Jose Mourinho will have to get his Manchester United side playing like his former Chelsea teams in the big games if the Red Devils are to win the Premier League this season.
The Red Devils were held to a goalless draw by Liverpool in the Premier League at Anfield on Saturday as they failed to find the net against Jurgen Klopp’s men.
Manchester United did not produce much of an inspiring performance against the Reds and Liverpool looked like the team more likely to win the game.
The Red Devils’ best chance fell to Romelu Lukaku in the first half, but his low effort was saved by Simon Mignolet in the Liverpool goal.
Saturday’s draw left Manchester United in second place in the Premier League table and two points behind leaders Manchester City after eight games of the new campaign.
But former Manchester United star Neville has warned Mourinho that his team will have to step their game up in the big games this season.
Speaking on Sky Sports after the game, Neville said: “Jose Mourinho’s won championships in this country regularly.
“He’s gone to places with his Chelsea team, his great Chelsea team and beat teams away from home.
“He knows what he needs to do, he knows his team will have to do better than that [against Liverpool] away from home in the future in the big games.”
Manchester United now turn their attentions back to Champions League affairs and their trip to Portugal to take on Benfica on Wednesday night.
