Man United and Chelsea make offers for top 25-year-old midfielder – report
Manchester United and Chelsea are both keen on signing James Rodriguez from Real Madrid this summer, say reports

Manchester United and Chelsea have both made offers to sign James Rodriguez from Real Madrid this summer, according to reports in Spain.
Spanish outlet OK Diario is reporting that both English clubs are interested in signing the 25-year-old Real Madrid star along with French giants Paris Saint-Germain.
The same story claims that Rodriguez’s stance about his future beyond the summer has not changed and that the Colombian midfielder is still intent on leaving The Bernabeu this summer.
The report claims that both Chelsea and Manchester United have made official offers to sign Rodriguez – but the midfielder has signalled that his preference would be a move to Old Trafford.
The news comes after Real Madrid president Florentino Perez earlier this week insisted that the Spanish club had not yet received any bids for any of their players this summer.
Rodriguez’s future has been a source of speculation in recent weeks due to his lack of playing time at Real Madrid last season.
He scored eight goals and made six assists in La Liga for Real Madrid last season but only made 13 starts in the Spanish top flight.
