Berbatov: 21-year-old Man United star is something special
Dimitar Berbatov heaps praise on Anthony Martial and backs him to be a big success at Manchester United

Dimitar Berbatov has heaped praise on Anthony Martial and is tipping the striker to become a key player at Manchester United.
The French forward has struggled to hold down a regular spot in the first team at Old Trafford this season but has impressed whenever called upon by Jose Mourinho.
Martial came off the bench to score Manchester United’s all-important winner in their 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford last weekend.
The 21-year-old was restored to the starting line-up and played 75 minutes of Manchester United’s 2-0 victory over Benfica in the Champions League on Tuesday night at Old Trafford.
Martial will be hoping to feature for the Red Devils when they return to Premier League action with a crunch clash against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
And Berbatov, who played alongside Martial during the pair’s time together at Monaco, is backing the French forward to succeed at Old Trafford in the seasons to come.
Speaking on BT Sport on Tuesday night, Berbatov said: “The guy for me is Martial. I know him from Monaco – we used to play together – and I love watching how he plays.
“Now he has more confidence in his play, he can go past players easily because he’s so fast and so strong. His finishing has [also] improved since I was at Monaco.
“So, when he’s on the starting sheet, it’s always a joy for me because I know I’m going to see something special and not fall asleep!”
Manchester United have already booked their place in the last 16 of the Champions League thanks to their impressive victory over Benfica on Tuesday night.
The Red Devils are currently second in the Premier League table and five points behind leaders Manchester City.
