Ed Woodward will hold a meeting with Jose Mourinho this week to deliver updates on Manchester United’s transfer targets, according to reports in the British media.
The Manchester Evening News, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that the Manchester United chief will meet with Mourinho to give updates on the Red Devils’ remaining transfer business for the summer window.
According to the same story, Woodward has had to leave the Red Devils’ tour of the US to attend to other business but he is set to link up with Manchester United in Detroit and Miami to update Mourinho about the transfer situation.
Manchester United have signed three players so far this summer, after having tied up deals for Diogo Dalot, Fred and Lee Grant.
The Red Devils are set to face AC Milan, Liverpool FC, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in their final pre-season games, before taking on Leicester City in their first game of the Premier League season.
Manchester United are thought to still be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they look to try and build a squad capable of winning the title next term.
