Ole Gunnar Solskjaer delivers injury update on Man United defender
Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits that Eric Bailly's knee injury does not look good

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted that Eric Bailly’s injury “doesn’t look good” after the Ivory Coast international suffered a serious-looking knee problem in Manchester United’s friendly clash with Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday.
The defender picked up the problem within just 10 minutes of being brought on as a half-time substitute and had to be carried off the pitch on a stretcher.
Manchester United are now waiting to assess the seriousness of the problem, but speaking after the game, Solskjaer admitted that it doesn’t look very promising.
Solskjaer is quoted as saying by Manchester United’s website: “It seems that he’s twisted his knee so we just have to do some scans and checks on him.
“At first sight, it doesn’t look great but let’s see how it goes.”
Bailly has struggled with his fair share of injuries at Manchester United in recent seasons.
The 25-year-old was restricted to just 12 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils last season. He also missed the Africa Cup of Nations this year due to injury.
Manchester United will be aiming to try and break back into the top four next season after they finished in sixth place in the Premier League table and without a trophy last term.
So far, the Red Devils have only made two new signings this summer after completing deals for Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James.
