Antoine Griezmann opens up on his future amid Man United and FC Barcelona transfer links

Antoine Griezmann has said that he wants to have his future resolved before this summer’s World Cup in Russia as he continues to be linked with Manchester United and FC Barcelona.
The France international has long been touted as a potential target for the Red Devils and he even rated his chances of signing for the Premier League club as “six out of 10” when asked about a possible move early last summer.
However, Griezmann opted to stay at Atletico Madrid for another season as he committed his short-term future to the La Liga club.
With the summer transfer window just around the corner, Griezmann is inevitably being linked with a move away from Atletico, with FC Barcelona having been strongly touted as a possible destination for the attacker.
And the France forward says he is keen to have his future resolved in the coming weeks ahead of the World Cup in Russia.
Griezmann is quoted as saying by Sky Sports: “I want to travel to Russia without this concern.
“It’s not about knowing where I’ll play, but about having the peace of mind if I’m still in one place or another.
“It may be boring, but I have told my sister that, whether I stay or not, this will have to be resolved beforehand.
“What bothers me the most is that everyone asks me about this issue.”
The attacker has been in fine form for Atletico Madrid so far this season, scoring 17 goals and making eight assists in 26 La Liga games for Diego Simeone’s side.
He has also netted six times in the cup competitions for the Spanish side so far this term.
