Rio Ferdinand reveals Man United’s biggest problem under Jose Mourinho
Rio Ferdinand has not been impressed by Man United's lack of consistency in recent weeks

Rio Ferdinand believes that Manchester United’s biggest issue under Jose Mourinho is the fact that the Red Devils have been so inconsistent this season.
Manchester United are currently coming to terms with the fact that they have been dumped out of the Champions League at the last 16 stage by Sevilla after a 2-1 defeat at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.
The result was a shock, especially considering that the Red Devils were in such good form as they beat Liverpool FC 2-1 at Old Trafford in the Premier League last weekend.
Manchester United will now focus on trying to win the FA Cup this season as their last realistic remaining hope of a trophy under Mourinho this term.
However, former Manchester United defender Ferdinand has clearly not been impressed by what he has seen from Mourinho’s men in recent weeks in terms of the quality of their performances.
Speaking to BT Sport after Tuesday’s Champions League loss, Ferdinand said: “Top teams don’t pick and choose when they play.
“They turn up, week in, week out. Consistency is key. This team haven’t done that.”
Manchester United will look to book their place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup on Saturday when they host Brighton and Hove Albion at Old Trafford in the quarter-finals.
The Red Devils won both the League Cup and Europa League last season under Mourinho.
