Manchester United have reached an agreement with AS Monaco to sign 16-year-old midfielder Hannibal Mejbri, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Red Devils look set to sign the teenage midfielder in a deal that could be worth as much as £9m.

The article now reports that his agent Jorge Mendes is now speaking to Manchester United representatives in order to try and thrash out a deal.
According to the story, Manchester United have been keeping tabs on Mejbri since January, when they opened initial discussions with Monaco.
The midfielder is also said to have attracted interest from the likes of Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Liverpool FC and Chelsea FC – but it seems that Manchester United are set to win the race for his signature.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are currently preparing for their Premier League season curtain-raiser against Chelsea FC at Old Trafford on Sunday 11 August.
The Red Devils are gearing up for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first full season in charge after he was made the club’s permanent boss back in March.
