Man United make £70m bid to sign 26-year-old – report
Man United have made a £70m bid to sign Harry Maguire from Leicester City, according to reports

Manchester United have made a £70m bid to sign Harry Maguire from Leicester City, according to reports in the British media.
ESPN FC is reporting that the Red Devils have made a move to try and sign the central defender as they look to bolster their rearguard options ahead of next season.
However, the same story says that the bid falls short of Leicester City’s £70m valuation of the defender and is therefore likely to be rejected by the Foxes.
It is claimed in the same article that Manchester United could be willing to put together a cash-plus-player deal to land Maguire, but that offer is not yet on the table.
According to the article, Leicester are “under no pressure” to sell Maguire after the 26-year-old signed a new contract with the Foxes back in September.
However, despite Manchester United’s apparent interest, it is claimed that Maguire would favour a move to Manchester City this summer because they can offer him Champions League football.
Manchester United will play in the Europa League next season after they finished in sixth place in the Premier League table and without a trophy last term under Ole Gunner Solskjaer.
