Sky Sports News reporter: Man United want to sign 26-year-old more than Man City
Kaveh Solhekol delivers the latest update on Harry Maguire's link to Man United and Man City

Manchester United retain a stronger interest in Harry Maguire than Manchester City, according to Sky Sports News reporter Kaveh Solhekol.
The Red Devils have been strongly linked with a move to bring the 26-year-old England international to Old Trafford as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to strengthen his options at the back ahead of next season.
Despite all of the transfer talk, there is yet to be official confirmation of Manchester United’s interest in signing the centre-half this summer.
Manchester City have also been credited with an interest in signing the talented defender from Leicester City this summer.
Now, Sky Sports News reporter Solhekol has delivered the latest update on Maguire’s future, and has claimed that Manchester United are more keen to sign the defender than their local rivals.
Speaking on the Sky Sports Transfer Talk podcast, Solhekol said: “No one has got close to Leicester’s valuation of over £75m. I think if somebody does then Harry Maguire will leave Leicester this summer.
“I think in an ideal world he would like to play in the Champions League and obviously he is not going to get that next season if he moves to Manchester United.
“But I think the situation is that Manchester United need him more, Manchester United want him more and Manchester United are willing to pay more than Manchester City at the moment.
“That is why this evening we think United are the favourites to sign him.”
Manchester United have made two new signings so far this summer, bringing in Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace and landing Daniel James from Swansea City.
The Red Devils will be aiming to break back into the top four for next season after they finished sixth and without a trophy last term.
