Man United could be without five players due to injury against Leicester – report
Man United could be without as many as five key players for their clash with Leicester this weekend, say reports
Manchester United are sweating on the fitness of five players ahead of their Premier League clash against Leicester City this weekend, according to reports.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Red Devils are waiting for information with regards to the fitness of Luke Shaw, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Jesse Lingard, Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial ahead of this weekend’s clash at Old Trafford.
The same story says that all five players were forced to miss their national side’s games during the international break, and it remains to be seen whether they will be ready for the visit of the Foxes.
Midfielder Pogba was forced out of France action during the international break after he picked up an ankle injury during the 1-1 draw with Southampton earlier this month, according to the same story.
Meanwhile, fellow Frenchman Martial has not been in action since picking up a knock during the home defeat by Crystal Palace.
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will clearly be hoping to have as many players available as possible as he bids to try and reverse his side’s stuttering form.
The Red Devils have only won one of the opening four games to leave them with five points from a possible 12 heading into this weekend’s clash against Brendan Rodgers’ men.
