Solskjaer provides injury update on Man United duo
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer updates Man United fans about the injuries picked up by Luke Shaw and Anthony Martial on Saturday

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that Luke Shaw picked up a suspected hamstring injury during Manchester United’s 2-1 defeat by Crystal Palace on Saturday.
The Red Devils slumped to their first Premier League defeat of the season at Old Trafford at the weekend after a disappointing performance in front of their home fans.
Shaw started the game but was forced off in the 34th minute at Old Trafford with a suspected hamstring complaint.
Solskjaer has now revealed that the defender will undergo scans to assess the extent of the problem, but he is hopeful that the injury is not too serious.
Solskjaer told Manchester United’s website: “We’ll do the scans tomorrow [Sunday] but he felt something in his hamstring.
“Hopefully, it won’t be too bad and I hope he is going to be back for Southampton.”
The Red Devils boss also provided an injury update on striker Anthony Martial, who picked up a problem late on during Saturday’s game.
Solskjaer continued: “We’ll have to wait and see. Hopefully they won’t be too bad and maybe we can have them training during the week.”
Manchester United will return to Premier League action next weekend when they travel to Southampton in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime.
The Red Devils will be keen to return to winning ways as they look to establish themselves as one of the main contenders for the Premier League’s top four this season.
They finished in sixth place and without a trophy under Solskjaer last term.
